News & Notes

The Rev. Steven Fuller, senior minister, has accepted a new opportunity. From his letter to the congregation: “The ties that bind us have been secured with the faithful study of scripture, the humble pursuit of God’s Kingdom, the quiet perseverance of prayer and the whole-hearted worship of our one, glorious, and loving God. I give thanks for the love you have shown and the grace you have shared.”

Congratulations to Molly Berghout, our church organist, who has just begun her studies towards a master’s degree in sacred music in Texas. We appreciate her 2+ years of service to our church!

Vacation Bible School was a whopping success! Over 50 children and dozens of volunteers joined in over 4 days, ending with a special performance during Sunday worship.

Thanks for supporting the Youth Group’s back-to-school drive for supplies, led by Rebekah Wyncoop. Dozens of children at Lingerfeldt Elementary were thrilled with free backpacks filled with tools to start the school year.

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you;

I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Isaiah 41:10
