HISTORY
From it's humble beginnings in 1875 as a small Sunday school class, to its subsequent moves to Long Avenue, Franklin Boulevard, and now Union Road, First Baptist Church has been a staple in the city of Gastonia. In 2025, we will celebrate our 150th anniversary, and we are excited to see the Lord continue to work in the lives of both our church and this community.
